Carbify Partners with International Flooring Labs for Extensive Multi-Year Carbon Compensation Initiative

Carbify proudly announces a strategic collaboration with International Flooring Labs (IFL), marked by a letter of intent to launch a groundbreaking carbon-compensated and certified flooring program on a global scale.

IFL, renowned as a leading flooring auditor globally, joins forces with Carbify to propel rapid growth through an innovative partnership that promises to reshape the carbon compensation landscape.

Project Insights

The collaborative effort between Carbify and IFL embarks on a comprehensive case study aimed at developing an accessible process for compensating carbon emissions associated with flooring products. This strategic endeavor entails furnishing end customers with carbon reduction certificates and NFTs, thereby fostering an easily comprehensible system.

Under the umbrella of a multi-year agreement, the initiative will involve the planting of distinctive trees for IFL and the acquisition of carbon debit tokens from $aCO2 pools on Carbidash, ensuring instant and effective carbon compensation.

The initiative further extends its benefits to wholesalers and resellers distributing IFL’s flooring products. These participants will be equipped with carbon reduction certificates as tangible proof of the products’ compensated carbon footprint. Each flooring package will incorporate a link to the Carbify dashboard, enabling customers to claim their certificates and receive a special branded IFL NFT. The products will carry the distinguished certification of being ‘carbon compensated by Carbify.’

Introducing International Flooring Labs (IFL)

IFL occupies a pivotal role in quality control and assurance services for flooring products. Its global presence encompasses millions of square meters of flooring certification annually. With comprehensive inspections spanning raw materials, mid-production, pre-shipment, and container loading, IFL’s expertise extends to numerous flooring factories across Asia.
